Phenix City, Alabama’s own Jatori Williams is making waves in the football world. On June 22, this talented offensive tackle attended a camp at Alabama, and by the end of the day, he had an offer from the Crimson Tide. Pretty amazing, right?
"I was excited because when I was growing up, all I thought about was going to Alabama," Williams shared with On3.
His first game visit to the SEC program was on November 16, when Alabama played against Mercer. During the visit, he had a chance to chat with the offensive line coach, Chris Kapilovic.
"When I went to the game, I felt good while I was talking to him," Williams said. "I also felt good after we spoke."
Williams comes from a family of Alabama fans, so seeing the crowd go wild at Bryant-Denny Stadium was a thrilling experience for him. He even got to take a tour of the Crimson Tide’s facility.
"I like everything," Williams said. "I like how they work."
While Alabama has his attention, Williams isn’t closing any doors. He’s planning visits to Florida, Florida State, and Kentucky, all schools that have offered him spots. And he’s keeping an eye out for potential offers from Georgia and Miami too. Who knows what the future holds for this rising star?
