Jermaine Kinsler Chooses Texas A&M

Jermaine Kinsler, a talented defensive lineman from Oradell, New Jersey’s Bergen Catholic, has decided to play for Texas A&M. This news comes from On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Kinsler had some big options on the table, including Michigan, Ohio State, and Miami. But in the end, he picked the Aggies.

He’s a big guy, standing at 6-foot-5.5 and weighing 260 pounds. He checked out College Station back in January.

“It was amazing,” Kinsler shared with On3. “I had a great time in College Station. My relationship with Coach Sean Spencer and Tony Jerod-Eddie just keeps getting better.”

So, why is this such a big deal? Well, Kinsler is ranked as the No. 176 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking. That’s a pretty cool weighted average that looks at all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 16 defensive lineman in his class and the top recruit from New Jersey.

Texas A&M is on a roll now. With Kinsler’s commitment, they’ve got nine recruits for their 2026 class. Mike Elko and his team are building something special, currently holding the No. 4 spot in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Leading this class are two standout players: Aaron Gregory, a four-star wide receiver from Douglasville, Georgia, and his high school buddy, four-star EDGE Jordan Carter.

Who knows what the future holds for Texas A&M, but with talents like these, it’s bound to be exciting!
