The Chicago Bears announced that quarterback Caleb Williams delivered a game-winning 46-yard touchdown pass to D.J. Moore in overtime, securing a 22-16 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field Saturday night.

The walk-off touchdown capped a comeback that saw Chicago trail 16-6 before rallying in regulation.

Josh Blackwell’s onside kick recovery set up the game-tying score. Undrafted wide receiver Jahdae Walker caught the touchdown pass that sent the game to overtime.

The Moore touchdown has generated significant social media engagement in the hours following the game.

The Bears’ official Twitter account shared an alternate angle of the play that’s been viewed 263,400 times.

The camera angle puts viewers directly behind Williams as he releases the pass.

Williams said he drew on his college experience at USC when facing the pressure situation.

“We’re a team that’s going to fight till the end, and there was too much time on the clock,” Williams told Tom Rinaldi of Fox Sports.

The Bears improve to 11-4 with the victory. Green Bay falls to 9-5-1 after the overtime loss.

Chicago’s playoff chances now depend on other results around the NFC. The Detroit Lions sit at 8-6 and remain outside the playoff picture.

If the Pittsburgh Steelers can defeat the Lions, Chicago would clinch its first playoff berth since 2020.

The Bears split the season series with Green Bay after the victory. Williams’ touchdown pass will likely be remembered as a key moment in the Bears-Packers rivalry.

Chicago needed the win to stay in control of their playoff destiny heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
