The No. 24 Tulane Green Wave and North Texas Mean Green will face off in the 2025 American Athletic Conference championship game on Friday night.
Tulane enters the title game with a 10-2 record. Junior quarterback Jake Retzlaff leads the Green Wave’s dual-threat offense, pacing the team in both passing and rushing yards this season.
North Texas brings an 11-1 record into the matchup.
Freshman quarterback Drew Mestemaker has been the engine of the Mean Green’s offense, throwing for 3,835 yards and 29 touchdowns against just four interceptions.
The winner will claim the AAC’s automatic bid to the College Football Playoff.
