Auburn football fans are gearing up for another season of support as the program enters a new chapter under Alex Golesh. The new head coach arrived on the Plains with a mandate to restore the Tigers to championship contention.
The 2026 season brings renewed optimism to Auburn. Golesh inherits a team with its top quarterback, running back, and receiver all returning from last season.

Auburn Football 2026 Schedule
The Tigers face a challenging SEC slate that includes home games against Florida and LSU. Auburn’s road schedule features trips to Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Alabama.
Auburn opens the season September 5 against Baylor in what should be an intriguing non-conference test. The Tigers then host Southern Miss before diving into SEC play with Florida visiting Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The October stretch will test Golesh’s team with back-to-back road games at Tennessee and Georgia. Auburn returns home to face LSU at noon on October 24 before another road swing through Ole Miss.
November brings the traditional rivalry games. Auburn hosts Arkansas and travels to Mississippi State before welcoming Samford for the final home game of the season.
The regular season concludes with the Iron Bowl at Alabama on November 28. That game remains without a scheduled kickoff time as networks await further schedule development.
