Auburn’s passing attack received recognition as PFF ranked two Tigers receivers among the nation’s top 10 returning players for 2025.
Georgia Tech transfer Eric Singleton Jr. ranks fifth on PFF’s list. Singleton recorded 56 receptions for 754 yards and three touchdowns in 2024, adding 131 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. He demonstrated big-play ability with 45+ yard receptions in five games.
Rising sophomore Cam Coleman ranks sixth. The former blue-chip recruit caught 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns as a true freshman. Coleman finished strong with 22 receptions, 306 yards and six touchdowns in his final three games.
Auburn stands as the only program with two receivers in PFF’s top 10, surpassing traditional receiver powerhouses Ohio State and Alabama.
The Tigers’ receiving corps will work with new starting quarterback Jackson Arnold, a transfer from Oklahoma. Arnold replaces Payton Thorne following Auburn’s 5-7 season that included just two SEC wins.
The program seeks its first season with more than six wins since Gus Malzahn’s departure in 2020. Auburn last won 10 games in 2017, despite reaching two BCS Championship games in the 2010s.
Head coach Hugh Freeze now has the pieces for a potent passing attack. With Arnold’s five-star pedigree and two highly-ranked receivers, the Tigers’ offense could emerge among the nation’s best in 2025.
