Jordon Hudson sparked conversation on social media over the weekend after posting a solo photo without her boyfriend, UNC Football head coach Bill Belichick.
The 24-year-old former Bridgewater State University cheerleader shared a black-and-white headshot on Instagram Saturday, June 14. The image showed Hudson with crystals covering her face while wearing a sparkly one-shoulder top.
The post left out any mention of Belichick, 73, prompting speculation from followers.
“What is happening,” one person commented.
“I guess they broke up,” another person wrote.
“It’s giving middle school breakup,” someone else said.
Other comments ranged from harsh criticism to supportive messages. Some followers questioned whether the couple had split, while others defended Hudson against negative remarks.

Hudson has pulled back on social media after Bill Belichick’s viral ‘CBS Mornings’ interview
Hudson’s social media activity has decreased since receiving criticism for her involvement in Belichick’s “CBS Mornings” interview on April 27.
During the taping, Hudson interrupted when host Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the couple met.
“We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said before Belichick could respond.
The exchange went viral and drew widespread criticism from football fans.
After the interview aired, Belichick revealed that he met Hudson on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021. However, the clarification came too late to prevent the backlash.
One viewer commented on the network’s Facebook post: “watching a 24-year-old cheerleader dictate to a six times Super Bowl winning Hall of Fame, Coach and 70 year-old man what he’s allowed to speak on is mind blowing.”
Before the interview controversy, Hudson regularly posted about her relationship with the Tarheels coach on Instagram.
