**Charles Woodson Jr.** from Orlando’s Lake Nona High is starting to make a name for himself. This talented sophomore just snagged his first two college football offers from Syracuse and Delaware.

And guess what? This is just the beginning for him.

“Charles embodies the qualities every coach looks for in a standout player,” said Lake Nona head coach David Aubrey. “Natural talent, strong work ethic, and leadership skills.”

Coach Aubrey couldn’t be prouder. He believes Charles is a shining example of the kind of player that reflects the school’s positive football culture. At just a sophomore, Woodson Jr. has already racked up some impressive stats: **53 tackles, two pass breakups, one interception, and a fumble recovery**. Not too shabby, right? His team ended the season with a 7-4 record, though they got knocked out by Vero Beach in the first round of the Florida 7A playoffs.

The offer from Syracuse is particularly exciting. They’re fresh off a big season, winning 10 games under head coach Fran Brown.

“It’s very exciting getting an offer from Syracuse, a *P4 school*,” Woodson said. “It feels crazy that they offered me, especially after the season they just had. What excites me the most is hearing about their culture and how they do things there.”

In case you didn’t know, Charles Woodson Jr. isn’t just any player. He’s the son of NFL legend Charles Woodson—Hall of Famer, Heisman Trophy Winner, Super Bowl Champion, you name it. Now it’s time for the younger Woodson to step into the spotlight.

“Charles is an exceptional talent with instincts and skills that set him apart on the field,” Aubrey added. “His ability to play downhill with intensity and cover sideline to sideline makes him a versatile and impactful player.”

Coach Aubrey also notes that Charles’ football smarts, likely inherited from his famous dad, really shine through. With his natural talent and eagerness to learn, the sky’s the limit for this young athlete. It’s going to be exciting to watch him grow and become a key player for Lake Nona.
