Clemson’s quarterback situation appears secure for 2025 with Cade Klubnik, who showcased his potential last season after initially struggling to meet expectations. However, the Tigers face uncertainty at the position beyond next season.
The program is actively recruiting for future quarterback talent.
Four-star 2027 quarterback prospect Trent Seaborn from Alabaster, Alabama, has scheduled a visit to Clemson on June 7-8, where he’ll participate in Dabo Swinney’s high school camp.
Seaborn has expressed strong interest in the Tigers program.
“No doubt, they really make me feel special up there,” Seaborn said. “And I really love them a lot too.”
247 Sports ranks Seaborn as the No. 16 quarterback in the 2027 class, No. 222 overall player nationally, and the No. 7 recruit from Alabama.
Several major programs are pursuing Seaborn, including Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, and Florida State.
Clemson’s quarterback recruitment strategy will be crucial for maintaining their College Football Playoff contention in coming years.
