Oklahoma could vault into the top 10 following their defensive clinic against Auburn. The Sooners recorded 10 sacks, including multiple takedowns of former quarterback Jackson Arnold, who transferred from Norman last season.
Notre Dame entered the week ranked despite an 0-2 start that raised eyebrows across college football. The Fighting Irish showed some defensive weaknesses against Purdue but should hold their top-25 spot after putting up 56 points against the Boilermakers.
