Cederian Morgan, a standout wide receiver from Alexander City, Alabama, has whittled down his college options to six schools. He shared this update with On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Friday.

Among those still in the running are Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Colorado, Alabama, and Georgia.

Morgan is not just any player; he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 18 overall prospect for the 2026 class. That’s pretty impressive! According to the On3 Industry Ranking—which pulls data from all the big recruiting sites—he’s the No. 3 wide receiver in his class and the No. 2 recruit coming out of Alabama.

Standing tall at 6-foot-5 and weighing 210 pounds, Morgan previously had a top 10 list that included Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Miami. But now, his focus has shifted more towards the southeastern schools, with the exception of Colorado.

Auburn and Alabama are seen as the frontrunners right now. Why? Well, Morgan recently visited both campuses, which could have a big impact on his decision.

“The vibe was great,” Morgan shared about his visits. “The coaching staff really showed me that I was a top guy for them. We sat down and talked like we were all family and they also did the same with my family.”

His visit to Auburn, also known as The Plains, left quite an impression.

“The environment is amazing,” Morgan said. “The fans, coaches, and family, it all feels like a big family. I get excited every time I’m here.”

Morgan isn’t just about football. This junior caught an impressive 70 passes for 1,162 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. Oh, and he’s also making waves in track and field, clearing 6’4” in the high jump as a sophomore. That’s not something you see every day!

So, what’s next for Morgan? With such talent and potential, it’ll be exciting to see where he decides to take his skills. Whatever choice he makes, it’s sure to be a game-changer for any program lucky enough to land him.
