Ryan Williams and Demond Claiborne lead EA Sports College Football 26 with matching 96 speed ratings, according to early player ratings released by the developer.

Williams, Alabama’s wide receiver, earned a 95 overall rating. Claiborne, Wake Forest’s running back, received a 91 overall rating.

The speed ratings come one year after the franchise returned following a decade-long absence since 2014.

Isaac Brown, Jeremiah Smith, and Jeremiyah Love are tied for second place with 95 speed ratings. These players can take the top off defenses or break away from defenders.

Top Speed Performers

D’Angelo Ponds, Eric Singleton Jr., and Nicholas Singleton each received 94 speed ratings.

Five players earned 93 speed ratings: Caleb Downs, Desmond Reed, Jeremiah Cooper, KJ Bolden, and Malik Muhammad.

Several other players hit the 90+ speed threshold. Bud Clark, Carnell Tate, Koi Perich, Makhi Hughes, and Xavion Alford all received ratings above 90.

Gamers are waiting for the next release after the franchise’s successful return last year. Speed remains one of the most important attributes in the game.
