**Keisean Henderson**, a rising star in high school football, just got a big boost to his career. After showing off some serious skills at the Navy All-American Bowl and Battle Miami 7v7, he’s snagged a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia.
Henderson, who’s already committed to the Houston Cougars since May, is getting attention from other top schools too. He’s got offers from Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, and more. That’s a pretty impressive list for any young athlete.
Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class is shaping up with some strong commitments. They’ve got **Vance Spafford**, a top-100 wide receiver from Tustin, California, **Jontavius Wyman**, a four-star cornerback from Jonesboro, Georgia, **Lincoln Keyes**, a three-star tight end from Saline, Michigan, and **Seven Cloud**, a defensive lineman from Powder Springs, Georgia.
Henderson’s Commitment to Houston
Even with all these offers coming in, Henderson is still standing firm with Houston. Last weekend at Battle Miami, he chatted with On3’s Steve Wiltfong about why he’s sticking with the Cougars.
“When I got the call from Coach Fritz after I went to the camp that he believed in me to play quarterback and nobody else had, that belief in me at the time made me feel I could run through a brick wall for him,” Henderson said. “Just the loyalty they’ve been having in me, by watching me go through this receiver stuff at 7on7 just knowing it was for fun and nothing that I really wanted to do. They just believe in me and that the narrative everyone else painted wasn’t a real narrative.”
Shining at the Navy All-American Bowl
Henderson’s performance at the Navy All-American Bowl was nothing short of amazing. He was named MVP by On3, and it’s easy to see why.
During the game, he showed why he’s considered one of the top athletes in the 2026 class. One standout moment was when he avoided a pass rush, rolled left, and launched a deep ball to SMU signee Jalen Cooper for a massive 91-yard touchdown. It was a perfect showcase of his potential as a quarterback.
Henderson also demonstrated his ability to throw accurately and make plays with his legs. On Day 3, he really clicked with his team’s wideouts, showing off his strong arm and precision. Charles Power, On3’s Director of Scouting and Rankings, noted that Henderson should be seen as one of the more exciting quarterback prospects in his class.
So, what’s next for Henderson? With his talent and the attention he’s getting, the future looks bright. Will he stick with Houston, or will another opportunity change his path? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—this young quarterback is one to watch.
