Jordan Seaton announced his commitment to LSU on Instagram, giving the Tigers a major addition from the transfer portal.

The Colorado left tackle chose LSU over Oregon and Miami after an intense recruitment process. Seaton was ranked as the No. 1 offensive lineman and top-five overall player in the On3 transfer rankings.

Lane Kiffin made the recruitment a priority this week. The LSU coach flew to Washington, D.C., and later Atlanta on Tuesday to pursue Seaton.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound tackle has connections to the D.C. area where he’s originally from. Seaton finished his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida before signing with Deion Sanders and Colorado.

WVUE TV’s Garland Gillen reported the financial details on social media.

“The number for Colorado OL Jordan Seaton is between $4–5 million.”

This represents Kiffin’s biggest signing since arriving at LSU before the postseason.

Seaton spent multiple days visiting Baton Rouge before traveling to Atlanta. He trains there during the offseason with Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Anderson.

The left tackle canceled a previously scheduled visit to Oregon while he was on LSU’s campus.

Seaton earned All-Big 12 second-team honors at Colorado in 2024. He started the first nine games before missing the final three with an injury.

His pass protection numbers were solid. Seaton allowed one sack and five pressures with zero quarterback hits during his time on the field.
