Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck had both his Mercedes and Lamborghini stolen overnight in South Florida, according to Fox Sports 640’s Andy Slater. His girlfriend Hanna Cavinder’s SUV was also stolen but has been recovered.
Beck, who transferred from Georgia this offseason, signed a reported $3-4 million NIL deal with Miami after deciding to forgo the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 21-year-old quarterback arrived in Coral Gables as the highest-rated transfer in the portal this cycle. He’s expected to follow Cam Ward’s path after Ward transferred from Washington State and became a Heisman Trophy finalist while leading Miami to its best season since 2017.
Beck’s connection to Miami predates his transfer. His girlfriend Hanna Cavinder plays for the Hurricanes women’s basketball team, making him a frequent visitor to the area.
At Georgia last season, Beck tied for the SEC lead with 12 interceptions. He suffered an arm injury in the SEC Championship Game against Texas that ended his season.
He’s still recovering from that injury but is expected to be ready for Miami’s season opener against Notre Dame on Labor Day weekend.
Law enforcement officials are investigating the vehicle thefts.
