NFL Mock Draft 2026

Round 1

1. Las Vegas Raiders

Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana (6-5, 236 pounds)

Mendoza to the Raiders is the only lock in the first round. The question now is whether he’ll beat out Kirk Cousins for the starting job in Klint Kubiak’s offense.

2. New York Jets

Arvell Reese, LB/EDGE, Ohio State (6-4, 241 pounds)

The Jets have debated between Reese and David Bailey. Both bring pass-rushing skills and athleticism. Reese offers slightly more versatility for Aaron Glenn’s defense.

3. Arizona Cardinals

David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech (6-4, 251 pounds)

The Cardinals like Bailey’s pass-rushing ability for Nick Rallis’ defense. He also provides coverage skills when needed.

4. Tennessee Titans

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame (6-0, 212 pounds)

Love has gained momentum as the second-most likely pick after Mendoza. He’d support Cam Ward in Brian Daboll’s offense while replacing an aging Tony Pollard-led backfield.

5. New York Giants

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State (6-5, 244 pounds)

With pick No. 10 from the Dexter Lawrence trade with Cincinnati, the Giants have flexibility. They’ve targeted Styles as a needed playmaker.

6. Cleveland Browns

Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State (6-2, 192 pounds)

The Browns need offensive help more than defense early. Tate gives them an outside receiver to become their new No. 1.

7. Washington Commanders

Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State (6-0, 206 pounds)

Washington could trade down given their multiple needs. If they stay, Downs is the top impact defender available for Dan Quinn.

8. New Orleans Saints

Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (6-2, 263 pounds)

The Saints could consider wide receiver but Bain is the ideal replacement for Cameron Jordan in Brandon Staley’s defense.

9. Kansas City Chiefs

Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU (6-0, 187 pounds)

Corner is a major need after moving on from Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson and Joshua Williams this offseason.

10. New York Giants (from Bengals)

Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State (6-2, 203 pounds)

The Giants view Tyson as the perfect complement to Malik Nabers. He offers slot versatility and big-play ability. This would help QB Jaxson Dart.

11. Miami Dolphins

Spencer Fano, OT, Utah (6-6, 302 pounds)

Miami could target Tyson after losing Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Instead, Fano addresses their offensive line needs for the rebuild.

Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee (6-1, 188 pounds)

The Cowboys have concerns about McCoy’s injury history but like him in Christian Parker’s new defensive scheme alongside DaRon Bland.

13. Los Angeles Rams (from Falcons)

Makai Lemon, WR, USC (5-11, 192 pounds)

The Rams have explored trades for Davante Adams and A.J. Brown. They also have concerns with Puka Nacua off the field. Lemon provides slot production to help MVP Matthew Stafford.

16. New York Jets (from Colts)

Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana (6-0, 196 pounds)

If Tyson and Lemon are gone, Cooper’s big-play ability pairs well with Garrett Wilson.

The Lions will grab Mauigoa if others pass due to injury concerns. He’s a potential left tackle to replace Taylor Decker opposite Penei Sewell.
