Nike announced its newest group of college football stars for the 2026 season. The company selected eight players for premium NIL deals that include signature products and major media campaigns.
Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss leads the group after winning his legal battle with the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility.
His teammate, running back Kewan Lacy, also made Nike’s list. The Rebels are targeting another College Football Playoff run with both stars returning.
Texas receiver Cam Coleman headlines the Longhorns’ representation. The Auburn transfer will be a primary target for Arch Manning this season.
Edge rusher Colin Simmons gives Texas a second player on Nike’s roster.
Oregon quarterback Dante Moore delayed his NFL entry to return to Eugene. He’s the only player from Nike’s home region, showing the confidence coach Dan Lanning has in his starting quarterback.
Three more players round out the group. LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green brings SEC experience to the roster.
Two freshmen made the cut: Vanderbilt quarterback Jared Curtis and Ohio State receiver Chris Henry Jr.
“Nike leverages the full weight of the brand to provide unparalleled partnerships with athletes across its football roster — giving them tools for long-term success across sport, business and culture,” Nike’s press release read. “Nike’s NIL partnerships also extend to athlete-centered design and innovation, as well as support for athletes in their pursuit to stand for something bigger.”
The SEC dominates Nike’s selections with five of eight players. The group includes projected first-round draft picks and potential Heisman Trophy contenders.
“Nike’s football roster has always been defined by the athletes who are shaping where the game goes next,” Nike executive vice president of global sports marketing Ann Miller said Thursday. “These signings reflect our commitment to serving the best football talent at every level with the support, innovation and partnership they need to reach their full potential on the field and away from the game.”
Nike’s college partnerships have produced NFL stars like Saquon Barkley, Ja’Marr Chase, Jayden Daniels and Derrick Henry.
These eight players are following the same path toward professional careers.
