Zach Hayes, Glorien Gough and Ian Gecse previously received call-ups from the club program.
Ohio State’s club football team has won four national championships. The program’s success has provided a pipeline for players to potentially move up to the NCAA level.
The Buckeyes’ coaching staff continues to evaluate talent already on campus. These moves show the organization’s commitment to developing players from within their existing programs.
Playing time at the varsity level isn’t guaranteed for any of the former club players.
The opportunity itself represents significant recognition for their development and performance. It also highlights the strength of Ohio State’s club football program, which competes at one of the highest levels in the country.
These call-ups provide additional depth for the Buckeyes while rewarding players who’ve excelled in the club system.
