Ole Miss hosted five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo for an official visit this weekend, marking the first stop in the highly-ranked prospect’s tour of top programs.
Ojo, ranked as the No. 2 offensive tackle in the country, is a consensus top-10 recruit nationally. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound lineman attends Mansfield Lake Ridge High School in Texas.
The timing gives the Rebels an early opportunity to make an impression before Ojo visits other programs on his schedule.
Ojo has official visits planned with Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Michigan in the coming weeks.
This visit continues a strong recruiting push for Lane Kiffin’s program, which secured a commitment from 2026 quarterback Rees Wise earlier this week.
Wise, from Austin Westlake High School in Texas, ranks among the top 50 quarterback prospects nationally. He committed to Ole Miss on Monday.
“I started off with a list of Top 10 schools, really had no clue about these schools, did some research on all of them and kind of got down to a Top 3 and Ole Miss was on it. Started to fall in love before I even got there,” Wise told On3.
Wise described his campus visit in vivid terms.
“I kept comparing it to the Masters, that’s how pretty it was. All the flowers and trees, stuff like that. Got to meet a lot more coaches than last time. Really enjoyed that. Staff was amazing. Got to talk to Kiffin a little bit. I just really loved the staff and everything about it. Really cool for me.”
Landing Ojo would represent a significant recruiting victory for the Rebels, especially from Texas territory as the Longhorns join the SEC.
