Oregon’s football team is on a roll! After snagging the Big Ten championship in their first year in the conference, they’re kicking off 2026 with a bang in recruiting. Right now, they’ve got 10 commitments, and eight of those are top-tier blue-chip prospects. That puts them at the No. 1 spot in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings as of mid-February.
It all started over a year ago when head coach Dan Lanning and his crew landed Tony Cumberland, a four-star defensive lineman from Scottsdale, Arizona. He signed up on September 23, 2023, and he’s been loyal to the Ducks ever since. Cumberland is ranked No. 51 overall in the 2026 class, according to a ranking that averages all major recruiting sites.
Another big name on the list is Kendre Harrison, the best tight end in the country. He’s a five-star recruit and sits at No. 15 overall. Harrison is pretty pumped about joining Oregon. He said, “Oregon is the total package. I chose Oregon because of their player development, the coaching I will get there, the culture and the place. I like Eugene a lot.”
Then there’s Kodi Greene, an offensive tackle from Santa Ana, California. He’s just shy of five-star status, ranked No. 24 nationally and fourth among offensive tackles. Close behind is Texan running back Tradarian Ball, who’s the fourth-best in the country at No. 38 overall. They both committed last summer, with Ball joining in late July and Greene on August 12.
Other exciting blue-chip recruits include quarterback Jonas Williams, defensive linemen Bott Mulitalo and Tomuhini Topui, and linebacker Tristan Phillips.
Leading the pack offensively is Kendre Harrison, while Tony Cumberland takes charge on defense. Interestingly, two of the commits hail from Oregon itself: Willamette teammates Cumberland and Viliami Moala.
