Tennessee continues building momentum for their 2026 recruiting class while preparing for another College Football Playoff run. The Volunteers already have two five-star commitments locked up for the cycle.
Faizon Brandon, the five-star quarterback, returned to Rocky Top this weekend for his official visit. He’s been committed since early in the previous school year.
“The Volunteers already have two five-star prospects committed. A five-star QB committed in Faizon Brandon, who is a huge recruiting tool for Tennessee, and they also have Gabriel Osenda,” Sports Illustrated’s Najeh Wilkins wrote.
The weekend visit also brought Tristen Keys to campus. The five-star LSU commit made the trip to Knoxville as Tennessee looks to flip high-profile prospects.
For Brandon, current Tennessee players made his commitment decision easy. Their feedback about Josh Heupel’s coaching staff stood out most.
“It pretty much answered all the questions. I had to talk to some of the players to see how they liked it. The thing that stood out to me was hearing what the players had to say about this staff and how everything is rolling there. Top down, I have good relationships with the people there.”
Brandon posted on social media during his Saturday return to campus. His message made it clear he’s locked in with the Volunteers.

The quarterback has the skill set that fits perfectly in Heupel’s offense. He’s focusing on finishing his high school career strong before taking over the most important position at Tennessee.
Tennessee hopes Brandon can help attract more elite talent. Keys represents the type of five-star prospect the Volunteers are targeting.
Brandon’s official visit went well based on his social media activity. He appears to be enjoying his time back in Knoxville and remains solid in his commitment to the program.
