Ohio State has secured a commitment from Blaine Bradford, a 2026 four-star safety from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, according to On3 on Monday.
“Ohio State is the best place for my development and for my future,” Bradford said.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound safety chose the Buckeyes over Oregon, Texas, and his hometown LSU Tigers.
Bradford ranks as the No. 25 overall recruit in the country and the No. 2 safety nationally in On3’s rankings.
He’s also rated as the No. 2 prospect in Louisiana.
The Buckeyes continue to build their reputation for developing defensive backs and sending players to the NFL while remaining a consistent College Football Playoff contender.
Bradford’s decision to leave Louisiana represents a significant recruiting win for Ohio State in their out-of-state efforts.
