Cody Taylor, a promising three-star interior offensive lineman from Greenwood, Arkansas, has his sights set on several colleges. He’s got a list of schools he’s interested in: Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Liberty, Memphis, Purdue, and Vanderbilt. Pretty exciting times ahead for him as he plans to check out these campuses this spring. He’s also keeping an eye on other programs like Kansas State that haven’t made him an offer yet.
Taylor’s eager to explore what each school has to offer. “I’m very interested in checking out Purdue, Vanderbilt, Appalachian State, Liberty, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, and Memphis,” he shared with On3. With some fresh offers on the table, he can’t wait to meet the coaching staffs, tour the facilities, and get a feel for the campus vibes.
Right now, he’s got a couple of favorites, but things could shift. Staff changes at some schools have shaken up his offer list. By March and April, he’ll have a clearer picture. He’s excited about finding a place to call home and is ready to make a commitment.
He’s definitely planning official visits to Purdue and Vanderbilt. And as the No. 7 player in Arkansas, Taylor aims to commit before his senior year kicks off.
“Culture is important to me,” Taylor explained. Ranked No. 486 overall and No. 43 among interior offensive linemen in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, he knows what he’s looking for. A strong team, a family-like atmosphere, and a winning mentality top his list. He wants a program where he can grow as an offensive lineman, be truly needed, and make a difference. Plus, he’s on the lookout for an offensive scheme that plays to his strengths.
With all these factors in mind, Cody Taylor’s journey to find the right college fit is well underway. Who knows where he’ll end up, but one thing’s for sure: he’s got a bright future ahead in college football!
