USC just snagged another big name for its already impressive recruiting class. They got a commitment from Andrew Williams, an up-and-coming EDGE player.

At 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, this Fremont, California native had some choices to make. He picked the Trojans over offers from San Diego State and Colorado State, plus he caught the eye of a few other big programs too.

“I’m thrilled to announce my commitment to The University of Southern California to continue my academic and athletic journey. It’s time to focus on my upcoming season,” Williams shared on Twitter.

And he’s got the stats to back it up. Last year, as a junior, he racked up 80 tackles. Ten of those were for losses. He also snagged nine sacks and forced three fumbles. On offense, he was no slouch either, scoring 12 all-purpose touchdowns — nine rushing and three catching.

Though he’s not ranked in the On3 Industry Ranking yet, which combines ratings from four major recruiting companies, 247Sports rates him as a three-star prospect.

Williams is joining a Trojans class that’s already turning heads for 2026. They’ve got nine commitments so far, including top-30 prospects like Xavier Griffin and RJ Sermons, along with Brandon Lockhart, a four-star cornerback, Shahn Alston, a top-150 running back, and Braeden Jones, a four-star defensive lineman.

Lincoln Riley and his team are riding high after their 2025 class finished 15th nationally. That group was led by five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet and standout defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart.

It looks like USC’s future is shaping up to be pretty amazing.
