The Black College Football Hall of Fame announced the return of the HBCU Legacy Bowl to New Orleans for its fifth edition in 2026. The showcase will highlight NFL Draft prospects from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The event goes beyond football. A full week of activities in Louisiana will celebrate Black culture and history alongside the on-field competition.

NFL Draft-eligible players get a prime opportunity to display their skills for team scouts. Prospects will be divided into two squads: Team Gaither and Team Robinson, honoring legendary HBCU coaches Jake Gaither and Eddie Robinson.
