The defending NJCAA Division I champion Hutchinson Blue Dragons (11-0) will face Iowa Western (11-1) on Wednesday in a rematch of last year’s championship game.
The Blue Dragons won that thriller 28-23 in 2024. Hutchinson also edged the Reivers 30-27 in September, setting up another tight contest.
These two programs have dominated junior college football recently. They’ve combined to win four of the last five national championships.
Hutchinson captured titles in 2020 and 2024. Iowa Western won back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023.
